Volcanic Candle
A hand made candle. The pot is hand thrown in a coarse black clay and the scented candle is hand poured and features a wooden wick.
Hand thrown from a coarse black stoneware clay and fired to 1,220°C.
Available in red, blue or white. The red version is glazed in a satin red volcanic glaze with dark speckles, which creates a sense of depth. The blue version is glazed in a matt turquoise glaze which is heavily varied with both blue and green colours, and creates a pitted surface texture. The white version is glazed in thin coat of a creamy white speckle glaze, with elements of the black clay showing through.
